Weekly Photo Challenge: Silhouette

Kardamyli, Greece

View outside of hotel window in Kardamyli, Greece.

In 2005, my friends and I took a 2 week tour of the Peloponnese (in Greece), and one of the stops was in Kardamyli.  Kardamyli is a small fishing town and we had a few free days to take a break and do whatever we wanted.  Although it rained a good part of the day, we didn’t mind, as we took the opportunity to rest from the very busy previous tour days.  This picture was taken from our hotel room at sunset after the rain had stopped and the clouds cleared a bit.

I moved from Seattle, Washington to join a project in Santiago, Spain called Pilgrim House. The Pilgrim House is a place where pilgrims of the Camino can come and find community, conversation, and prayer.
